Foundation International College of Commerce (ICC) was founded in 2000 by a group of educators, with the main objective to make available applied finance, investment and management education of international standard to students and professionals in the Benelux.

In 2001 the college introduced the world leading professional accounting bodies, from the United Kingdom, – ACCA and CIMA – to the Benelux education sector.

Today we are pleased to present ICC’s partnership with the United States professional accounting bodies CMA & CPA to the region.

To offer students, in the digital age, a superior online ‘personalised learning experience’, ICC and BECKER – an industry pioneer – have agreed to an exclusive partnership. A cooperation providing a unique and extensive learning portfolio, experience and support to students and companies in the Benelux and Europe.

At the demand of the industry and practitioners the International College of Commerce works together with professional bodies and universities for the production of academic materials.

As a Foundation, the International College of Commerce initiates and supports education projects in partnership with universities, colleges and schools in the Benelux as well as in diverse parts of West Africa.

Five key principles on which our services are build:

Respect for Persons: We seek to find mutual respect, trust, and happiness in our relationships with persons of every race, ethnicity, class, religious preference, gender identity, physical ability, sexual orientation, or age, even seeking to respect persons removed by time and place.

Integrity: Academic integrity is particularly important in educational communities. These communities rely on all of their members pursuing truth honestly, scrupulously crediting the work of others, and taking credit only for one’s own work and discoveries.

Peace and Justice: The peace testimony extends beyond personal interactions to institutional and social structures that, while sometimes invisible or taken for granted, may do violence. At ICC we constantly seek non-violent responses to conflict and to look for just solutions.

Simplicity: Simplicity enables us to discern what is really necessary for the well-being of ourselves, others, and the world. Living simply “cannot be reduced to lists of what is permitted or proscribed.” Simplicity leads to joy, not guilt or judgment, for ourselves and others.

Community: The students at ICC has a great many rights and responsibilities, but it is in the act of participation in a community that we come to know our interdependence with one another and to develop such individual virtues as openness and restraint and such communal virtues as justice and equality.
